College-Bound Seniors, Check-out this handy list of what you should be working on right now! 1) Attend a Virtual Education Quest FAFSA Tutorial. (Currently virtual. Sign-up at educationquest.org) 2) Sign-up for Countdown2College email service at educationquest.org. 3) Visit your top colleges NOW! 4) Complete your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) by November 24th! • Colleges need this in order to tell you how much financial aid they can give you. • You will need last year’s tax returns. • Access FAFSA here: https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa • To make it easy, call Education Quest (402-475-5222) and schedule a FREE virtual appointment to complete your FAFSA. 5) Apply to colleges. • Get your applications in by November 24th! • Most applications are available on the college website under admissions. 6) Consider taking the ACT again. • Colleges will take your best score. • Sign-up at ACT.org. 7) Start thinking about scholarships. • Create an EducationQuest account and sign-up for ScholarshipQuest. • Look at the counseling office page on the high school website for scholarship resources.

NCHS Students, It is so exciting that this school year we are able to have in-person college representative visits again at NCHS! Your freshman year is not too early to start talking to college representatives and researching potential post-secondary options. Make sure you are checking your school email to sign-up for rep visits.
