Grow Tower

Our Grow Tower has been up & running for a couple of months now thanks to the Agriculture Exploratory class.  We now have 2 pea pods and many other blossums.  Stop by to see our growing vegetables.

Pollinator House

Students from Mrs. Dunn's PPT earned a grant to build a pollinator garden from the Youth Advisory Council of the Nebraska City Community Foundation.  Planting will begin this summer, weather permitting!

Thanks to the Pioneer Academy for building this awesome bee hotel!

Pioneer Bots going to State!

Congratulations to the Pioneer Bots Purple and Gold teams. Both teams are advancing to State Robotics.  

The Pioneer Bots Purple team brought home a Robot Design trophy. Team members are Kelly Gonzalez, Gabe Collins, Blayne Rumery and Alexa Turner.






Pioneer Bots Gold team members are Anthony Robinson, Marcus Bartman, Elizabeth Poggemeyer, Kiera Rakowski and Donald King.

#BEKIND

Nebraska City Public School and United Against Violence is offering the opportunity for parents and community members to order the new #BEKIND shirts that were provided to students 6 – 12th grade.  Anyone interested in purchasing a #BEKIND shirt can do by going to: https://merzink.com/web-stores.  Shirts are available to order until November 30th.  The cost is $10 each for youth and adult sizes up to XL; add $2 for 2XL and 3XL.  You can pick them up in store by December 14th or have them shipped to you.  All proceeds will go to support future #BEKIND and violence prevention work in the Otoe County schools and community.
